Going to Elementary school in the Boston area was a unique experience as there is a large
Jewish population.
We sang songs at The Christmas/Hanukkah concert that had lyrics like:

I ...I wasn't offended at all or turned into a Jew by being told to sing songs and respect that some of my classmates didn't use trees but used candle holders and every night they lit a candle and got a present. Seemed like an alright gig .

They are looking at my cultural exchange. I have tons of pics including the local police smiling and taking pictures but the ones of my students and the police are no go so these strangers will make my point.

1st: America is a Democracy and if the majority of parents were against this it wouldn't have been in the paper but your screwing a majority for a minority.
2nd: If you really can't afford a 1/2 day of fun for the kids than Halloween is the least of your School's problems.
